I just got back from spending the week in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina, photographing the fall foliage. While everything wasn't ablaze with color, there was still lots to photograph. Fortunately, the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and Blue Ridge Parkway were partly open, and fully reopened on Thursday (thanks to the a-holes in Washington).
Here's just a quick sampling from the trip. I took over 700 images, so I've still got many hours of processing time ahead of me.
